While majoring in Hospitality Administration in Boston University, she started her carrier at the Front Desk. She worked in Elliot Suite Hotel and Westin Copley Place in Boston and gained experience at the front desk. After returning to Turkey in 1997, she began working in the sales department of Divan İstanbul followed by Hilton İstanbul & Hilton Parksa holding the positions of Corporate Sales Executive and Group Sales Supervisor until September 2000. She then joined the opening team of the Ritz-Carlton İstanbul. When she resigned in 2005, she was the Senior Director of Sales of Ritz-Carlton İstanbul. Having intense experience in sales, Selbin Okyay then held the position of Director of Sales in Conrad İstanbul before she was appointed as the Director of Sales & Marketing in Richmond Nua Wellness-Spa in Sapanca for two years. The last position Ms Okyay held, prior to her appointment as the Executive Assistant Manager of Pera Palace Hotel, was her positon of Director of Sales in Çırağan Palace Kempinski in Istanbul. Selbin Okyay joined Pera Palace Hotel as the Executive Assistant Manager for the re-opening of the hotel after four years of restoration and renovation project. Having great experience in hotel openings, as of 2012 Selbin Okyay started giving consultancy in hotel management. Neslihan Uğurlu began her 22-years of tourism and hotel business career in 1990 in the "kitchen of the profession" the front desk department. In 1992,she worked as the front desk responsible in Mövenpick Hotel, which was her first experience with big hotel chains. After her 2 years there, she was transferred to Hilton İstanbul in 1994, which was deemed one of the most precious schools of Turkish hotel business, and known as "the school of hotel business". During her Hilton career of 8 years, she worked respectively as the front desk responsible, booking manager, yield manager, revenue manager, and guest relations manager. In 2002, she started to work for Hillside Su Otel, having her first experience with "opening hotel business" in the sector. For almost 2 years, she worked as the agencies and group sales manager. In 2004, she came back to the Hilton family as the revenue manager of the "luxury segment" hotel of the chain this time - Conrad Hotel. In 2005, she became a part of the Kempinski family, another famous global hotel chain, as the Sales and Marketing Director in the opening team of Kempinski Hotel The Dome Belek. In the same year, she started to work for Çırağan Palace Kempinski, one of the 3 most globally renowned hotels of the brand. During her 4 years at Kempinski, she rose up to the "senior" sales manager position in the sales department, thus making her a name in the industry. In August 2009, she was back at Mövenpick Hotel as the sales director. Increasing her experience in the tourism and hotel business sector day by day in years, Neslihan Uğurlu is now the business manager of the "Stories Apart" boutique hotel chain in Beyoğlu, the rising trend of Istanbul. During her new assignment she took in September 2010, she structured all the system, team and operation standards of the project that included three boutique hotels and became one of the managers who brought Stories Apart hotels to Istanbul in only 1 year. Neslihan Uğurlu is also a member of the "International Association of Skal Clubs", one of the world's leading tourism clubs.
Elçin Okyay Tansan, who gained her bachelors degree on Business at Boston University, in Boston, Massachusetts USA, in 1997, began her 17 years of banking career at EGS Bank Financial Institutions Department. She, then became a Sales Relationship Manager at TEB Factoring (a subsidiary of TEB-BNP Paribas) where she gained extensive knowledge and experience on sales management. She promoted, due to her success on the sales field and customer acquistion, to work at TEB, Headquarters Commercial Banking Marketing Division. In this position, she helped the bank acquire many new customers via coordinating the bank's many related divisions and commercial branches. In this position she also developed the 'Sales Calls System' which is a CRM system with the help of IT Department. She pursued helping the bank gain new client acquisition and client penetration in her next role at Corporate and Commercial Banking Cash Management Department via sales & development of the products and coordination of the value chain activities. After transferring to Koçbank, she led Koçbank's cash management sales department. She then became the manager of Commercial Banking Sales Division to lead the restructuring and entegration of Koçbank and Yapı Kredi Banks merger for the commercial banking division. After the merger, the bank's name united under Yapı Kredi (a subsidiary of Unicredit). She then, became the head of Commercial Banking Strategy and Business Development Division and managed Marketing, Strategy and Budget, Planning and Monitoring Teams. She, then transferred to her position as the Head of Product Development and Marketing which reported to the AGM of Commercial Banking at Citibank, Turkey. She led the restructuring of Citibank Commercial Banking as well as the product, marketing and budget, planning & monitoring teams. She joined aNewSource Consulting & Recruitment Services in September 2015 to share her experience in the financial services field via giving the required consulting services & to place the most appropriate labor force in related financial service divisions.
